Angie came to rescue from a rural area. She found her way into a rancher's carport and
collapsed due to malnutrition possibly due to having a litter of pups and giving all she
had to give. They fed her up and she made the ranch her home guarding against coyotes and
other stray dogs , sleeping with one eye open ( in typical Pyr fashion) during the day in
the carport.
As loyal and sweet Angie was, it couldn't save her from the ranch owner who insisted that
she had to leave. The folks who had helped her contacted Rescue and advised us she is good
with children, though cats are questionable. She appears to be between 2-3 years of age.
Angie was evaluated for her potential as a livestock dog, and proved that she was wonderful
with the new goats. She has been placed with a family with a small ranch in the Mother Lode.
