She has found that companionship in Lakeport where she also
takes care of goats.
Along with her former partner, Marshall, Angel was featured in the National Geographic Program, Dogs with Jobs when they were learning to be livestock guardians.

Angel was a teen-age mother. Bred when she was barely a year old, she gave birth to
a litter of eight cross-bred pups. Caring for them has drained her, and she only weighed
66 pounds when she came into rescue. She gained weight and condition in her first foster
home, but when placed on a ranch, showed she needed human companionship much more than
that of other animals. She has found that companionship in Lakeport where she also
takes care of goats. |
